Cooking Concept/Simmering Style Workshop hosted by the Naples Art Association

The Naples Art Association (www.NaplesArt.org) – a non-profit organization whose mission is to expand cultural opportunities, broaden education, and enrich Southwest Florida through the visual arts – will host this Cooking Concept/Simmering Style Workshop. If you are an advanced* artist who wants the challenge of taking more creative risks, being more inventive and executing art that engages, empowers and transforms viewers, this intense five-day workshop gives you that opportunity. During the 4 days in the studio at The von Liebig, and, 1 day in Miami visiting contemporary art collections, you practice interpreting art’s messages, understanding how your life’s experiences lead to the concepts your art embodies, and, how your unique style is nurtured and developed. Using the media you prefer, you will create 7 new works as you focus your specific gifts and talents on cooking your concept and simmering your style to serve up a visual feast for the heart and mind. *The advanced artist has a body of seven completed works to bring to the workshop on Day 1.

The Naples Art Association will host Cooking Concept/Simmering Style Workshop with instructor Genie Kell on Monday, December 26 thru December 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The workshop is $550 for members and $600 for nonmembers.
