Art can provide solutions to the challenges we face today. Art can change the world by motivating people to turn thinking into doing. In this exhibition artists lead the way with creative solutions. Passionately Repurposed is an exhibition of artwork created from recycled materials and found objects. Recycling is the reprocessing of materials into something new and includes the actions of reclaiming and altering. A Found Object is a natural or discarded object found by chance and held to have aesthetic value. Artists known for working with found object constructions include Joseph Cornell, Marcel Duchamp, Pablo Picasso, Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters and Leo Sewell. This exhibit is free-of-charge and open to the public and will be located in the Watson Gallery.

Passionately Repurposed: Art from Recycled and Found Materials Exhibit presented by the Naples Art Association will run from Saturday, December 10 thru Saturday, January 21. The exhibit is free-of-charge for members and nonmembers. For more information please contact Aimee Schlehr at 239.262.6517, via e-mail at Aimee.Schlehr@NaplesArt.org or visit www.NaplesArt.org.
