Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida will hold their sixth annual Tea at the Ritz-Carlton, sponsored by Fidelity Private Bank Management and chaired by Ms. Dylan Sanders, on Sunday, December 3. The afternoon tea will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Beach Resort located at 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples from 2 to 4 p.m.
The event theme for this year is Gingerbread and Sugar Plums Holiday Tea. The afternoon will include a high tea service that will cater to both children and adults, plus there will be kid friendly activities, including candy and cookie decorating stations. The Naples Ballet will treat guests to excerpts from the Nutcracker, and guests will be surrounded by festive holiday decorations as only the Ritz-Carlton can do.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on fabulous silent auction items and participate in various drawings all while learning more about the mission of Make-A-Wish. The goal for this year’s event is to raise enough funds to grant three wishes to local children.
Individual tickets are available for $125 for adults and $75 for children ages 13 and under. Sponsorships are still available starting at $500 with 100% of event proceeds benefitting Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida. To purchase tickets please visit www.makeawishtickets.org. Reservations are highly recommended as this has been a sold out event in years past.
In addition to presenting sponsor Fidelity Private Bank Management, others making this event possible are Publix Super Market Charities, The Woodruff Institute, David Greene MD, FACS, FARS, and Naples Illustrated.
Make-A-Wish Southern Florida grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Southern Florida chapter grants a wish every 16 hours and has granted more than 10,000 wishes since its inception in 1983. The chapter’s vision is to make every eligible child’s wish come true.
