Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. “Since the late 1960s, Perlman has reigned supreme among the world’s violinists” (The Washington Post). Perlman has performed with every major orchestra and at venerable concert halls around the globe. He has performed multiple times at the White House, was granted a Kennedy Center Honor in 2003 and has won four Emmy Awards and 15 Grammys, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

The superstar violinist performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto in a special evening with the Naples Philharmonic.

Naples author Nathan Hill will hold a pre-concert book singing and brief discussion about his debut novel, The Nix, which depicts a performance of the Bruch Violin Concerto. Hill is married to Naples Philharmonic assistant principal bassoon Jenni Groyon Hill.
