The Marco Island Center for the Arts is committed to presenting an ambitious exhibition schedule with new shows every month in its Lauritzen, Rush, and La Petite galleries.
Second Tuesday represents the official opening of the month’s show and is always held at the Center from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. Attendees have an opportunity to meet with the current artists and learn of their inspiration, techniques, and additional work.
The event has gained a reputation as the must-attend social activity of the month. A wine bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres are offered.
Taste of the Arts: Restaurant of the Month – Each month a local restaurant offers attendees a chance to sample their menu free of charge during our event. Many attendees cite participation in the Second Tuesdays as a reason they are more likely to support a restaurant. If you have a restaurant and would like to be featured, please contact Hyla Crane
Current members of the Marco Island Center for the Arts are always welcome and invited to attend along with their guest at no charge. For the general public, while there is no fee to attend, we are grateful for a suggested donation of $10.
The Marco Island Center for the Arts provides a free parking lot in front of the building for its members and visitors. In addition, when the lot is full, cars are allowed to be parked on the grass adjoining the lot. If both the lot and the grass spots are full, visitors may park across the street in The Jewish Congregation of Marco Island parking lot.
