Organic Farm Tour with Nick Batty & Lunch with Culinary Demonstration by  Chef Kristina San Filippo  Owner Nick Batty will lead a tour of Inyoni Farm, located in Naples, Florida, introducing the variety of plants being grown on the farm and sharing stories of the trials & triumphs of growing produce by organic standards in Southwest Florida. The sustainable farming practices used at Inyoni will be the focus of the tour material, including the farm’s dedication to sell only to local restaurants and customers.  Following the tour, a culinary demonstration will be presented where Chef Kristina San Filippo will prepare a selection of recipes using the same seasonal produce just seen on the tour of the farm. Guests will then enjoy a three course vegetarian lunch featuring the recipes presented in the culinary demonstration. The lunch menu will vary based on seasonal availability of produce from the farm. All plants at Inyoni Farm are grown following organic standards. 80% of the farm land is USDA Organic Certified. 20% of the farm land is grown under the same organic standards but is in the midst of the transitional 3 year period to become Organic Certified.   The per person tickets for January through April include: ~The Farm Tour ~3 Course Vegetarian Lunch with Beverage ~Culinary Demonstration of recipes from the lunch ~A sampling of just-picked-from-the-ground-and-washed veggie to enjoy at home in an Inyoni Farm reusable cloth shopping bag If you prefer to reserve your seat by check or cash please email chefkristinasf@yahoo.com for further information.  (Do not complete this EventBrite registration if you want to pay by check.) Farm Tour begins at 10am Lunch & Demonstration will end around 2pm Inyoni Organic Farm is located off of Immokalee Road, 8 miles East of Interstate 75. The exact address & directions for the event will be emailed to you with your confrimation 5 days prior to the event.        For more information about Chef Kristina please visit her website at www.chefkristina.com   ***The Chef will be happy to accommodate any food allergies or restrictions a guest may have; please notify the chef a minimum of 7 days prior to the event to ensure the adjustments can be made.   Tours are limited to 20 people per event date.  Farm Tours + Lunch are held RAIN OR SHINE!! Mother Nature is in charge of the thermostat so please dress appropriately for the day’s weather forecast; we will be outside for the duration of the event. Be sure to wear comfortable ACTIVE-WEAR SHOES that will fully cover your feet for the walking tour.  This is a working, organic farm and there are critters scampering around the grounds as nature intends.  Bring a hat or other sun covering as you may need. Bug repellent may also be a helpful addition since you will be out doors for the whole event. Lunch will be served under a tent for comfortable accommodations. In case of predicted severe weather conditions that are hazardous to our guests’ safety ticket holders will be notified of the selected alternative event date.   Cancelations made 5 days prior to the farm tour event date can be refunded or rescheduled to another tour event.  All other cancelations will not be refunded.    Agritourism Advisment Under Florida law, an agritourism operator is not liable for injury or death of, or damage or loss to,a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury, death, damage, or loss results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity.
